A Photographers Paradise; Photographing in LA

Photographing at #VeniceBeach

As I sit in my spacious hotel room preparing for my flight home later today, I cannot help but reflect on the awesome 5 days I have had here in Los Angeles.

Downtown LA from #GriffithObservatory

My trip out here to the westcoast was "properly taken advantage of," I knew time was of the essences, so unlike many tourist who experience LA, my time was not waisted in my hotel room, it was accounted for and document as if I was getting paid for it!

I took my Canon T2i, iPhone 5c & 4s everywhere I went. If I was in a public venue I was snapping off my smart phone, but if I was at a beach or park, I used my digital camera. For every situation I experience, I had a device near me, to ensure the moment wouldn't be missed.

For instances, Venice Beach. When I finally experience the Pacific Ocean for the first time, I had no one with me to capture the moment, so I used my mini - iPhone tripod and a awesome free app from the iTunes Store called; Timercam, to photography my selfies at the beach while I played in the water like the 3 year old I actually am.

And when I wanted to capture the skyline of greater Los Angeles at Griffith Observatory, I used my wireless remote to initate  my bulb as I placed my digital camera on a cement pilar to shoot off of since my big tripod was not accessible.

Photographing in LosAngeles requires different techniques for different occasions, I'm just happy that I was prepared to photography in LA this time, it is truly a photographers paradise. Till the next time y'all, this is Jayi Kemp signing out ... peace :)
