SEAN NESTOR: A VESSEL FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS

Sean Nestor Marching in Toledo's Labor Day Parade "13"
Being that I am a man that likes to type less and talk more, I will attempt to share with you my thoughts on Mr. Sean Nestor in approximately 300 words or less in this posting. My wordage has no baring on my personal feelings about him, I'm just a lazy guy who enjoys blogging with visuals more so then words, but nonetheless, here I go ...

Sean and I developed our friendship under the most unfortunate circumstances, we both lost a great friend (Antonio "Tony" Johnson) in December of 2011. Losing Antonio in the manner in which we lost him was painful, but it was because of his death that our relationship forge and I got to know Sean for the man he is and still is till this day.

And that man is a vessel of righteousness! I do not know anyone else in this world (other than Lakeisha) who would host an event that they did not intend to put together when at the last moment, the creator of the event is unable to show up, but Sean. Since meeting Sean nearly two years ago, Sean has been a supporter, a co - creator, and a spectator for some of the biggest events in my life

Awesome visual I shot while marching with Sean

Sean and I did not grow up together, our families do not attend the same church, but when I have asked of him or informed him about things, Sean has been there. When I graduated from Herzing University last May, none of my childhood friends were in attendance. But as I walked through the double doors of the Maumee Performing Art Center, Sean was there.

If I had to summarize Sean in one word, that  one word would be this: righteous! Yesterday as I marched with Sean at the Labor Day parade in Downtown Toledo, I asked him "has all of this attention gone to your head?" and his response was this; "I am a vessel for the people ..."

And honestly I could not agree more, since having the opportunity to get to know Sean on a personal level and not political, Sean has always been a vessel for righteousness. He does things because he wants to see them get done, he is not motivated by money nor power, he is motivated because it is in his heart to see those things get done and that is exactly why I support Sean, because to me, he is a vessel of righteousness!
