COMfest 2013

Respect the Principles!
If  some would ever ask me, "Jayi" can you give me a visual of what America's "Melting Pot" would look like if you could see it, my rebuttal to them would be this; The Community Festival in Columbus, Ohio, AKA, the COMfest!  It is by far (in my opinion) the best representation of what America should be, it's peaceful, ecliptic, unashamed, pure fun and I personally love it!

Party, Party, Party!
At a time in our society where color is dividing "some" members of our culture, it is reassuring to know that not everyone is being affected by "Paula Dean" or "George Zimmerman's" actions.  But instead are partying, rejoicing, and celebrating life, love, and the pursuit of happiness as they should be.

Dope Art Piece I Seen At COMFest
Yesterday while at the annual COMfest in Columbus, Ohio, I got to witness this in person, and let me tell you something, it was the perfect "Kryptonite" for our societies shortcomings. We live in a era that is no better then its predecessor, we persecute, judge, and offend others for no "justifiable" reason at all, other then the fact; we have not embrace the unknown.

The Rain Ain't Stop Nothing!
So to see members of our society "rise above" this notion about "Americans" it was pretty freaking awesome! I totally dug hanging out with gays, whites, goths, and transgenders yesterday in the most hippie - ish of ways.

Just Beautiful
America may as a whole have some maturing to do on sexual orientation, lifestyle, and other blah, blah, blah, but it was cool to see that a few of us could get down and hang amongst each other, until the next post people, this is Jayi Kemp signing off ... later.
